Project name: Disconnect to Connect
Dates: 2.-9.4.2025
2024-1-CZ01-KA152-YOU-000240365
The project Disconnect to Connect was organized within the Erasmus+ programme and took place in the town of Červená Voda. It brought together around 30 young participants from five European countries.
The main focus of the project was to explore the topic of social media addiction, raise awareness of its risks, and encourage participants to practice mindful and healthy use of digital technologies. The programme also included workshops and activities aimed at personal development, self-reflection, and building strong interpersonal connections.
A significant added value of the project were workshops led by professionals – from yoga sessions to a psychological lecture on social media addiction by lector Olda. Participants also prepared their own activities, including creative video production related to the project theme.
The programme was enriched by outdoor activities such as hiking in the Czech mountains, meditation in nature, and even swimming in a natural lake. These experiences helped participants reconnect not only with each other but also with the surrounding environment.
The project provided valuable insights and skills, while also fostering friendship, intercultural exchange, and long-lasting connections. For many, the week in Červená Voda was an unforgettable experience that inspired them to reflect on their own habits and lifestyle.
